2024 Year in Review

2024 Year in Review

I think most of us can agree that 2024 was...interesting..but we saw another year come and go. Here at Nordic Allure we wrapped 2024 up with some pretty awesome stats if we say so ourselves, but we couldn’t have done it without our amazing customers. We wanted to share some of those stats with you all, because who doesn't love random info?

  • We made over 17,400 bars of soap in 2024

  • Attended 15 events in 6 states covering almost 12,000 miles

  • Our top selling soap was Dorch Chridhe (Honestly though, is anyone surprised?)

  • Our top selling lip balm flavor was Vanilla Honey

  • The BS Free Deodorant outsold our original Probiotic Deodorant for the first time since its creation. (But only by 9 sticks!)

  • We changed up our soap packaging! We finally moved to boxes, this reduced our time packaging soap significantly. We discovered this was also a great upset for some customers…because it meant our bar size also changed…and we are known for or larger bars...Trust us we're sad about that too.

  • The furthest show we travel to is in Las Vegas, NV, but it's only about 10 miles further than the second furthest show which is in Pleasanton, CA.

  • We became the Official Soap Makers for the Idaho Renaissance Faire...an accolade that really only matters to us and serves no purpose other than it's a cool way to say we keep their cast members clean behind the scenes in the dressing rooms... and we like claiming it!

  • We met three authors at three different events. T. E. Watson-He is a renowned children's book author; Patricia Carrigan- She writes dark romance and recently released a book called "DEMI"; Gregory Amato- He writes Norse fantasy and other adventures (we also have a few signed copies in store for those who are interested in Norse fantasy!)

  • We also met a friend of Ryan Smith, author of "The Way of Fire and Ice" one of the books we carry, they even took a picture of his book at our booth because it was cool to see it "out in the wild".

  • We got to invade two of our local third grade classrooms and share our love for the saponification process with them! Kids are wild, fun and say the craziest things sometimes, but they had fun and that's the important thing! A huge thank you to the school and teachers for letting us come in and demonstrate how soap is made!
  • We have a certain toad by the name of Tilly up for ransom should anyone know a certain Goblin who is missing her...her upkeep and ransom is going up though...lol

  • And finally, we still have THE BEST CUSTOMERS than any other brand. This might be our bias showing though...

Thank you again for being part of our Nordic Allure family. We look forward to another amazing year in 2025 and have some new products coming out soon so keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages! We hope everyone has a fantastic 2025 and a safe winter season, see you soon!
